Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in the plumbing trade.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and drain installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and reliable.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements and drug-testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace water supply lines, drain and waste systems, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, gas piping, and related plumbing components.
• Inspecting and testing plumbing and drain systems.
• Troubleshooting plumbing and drain issues.
• Ensuring installations and repairs meet applicable plumbing codes and Travis Electrical Service standards.
• Communicating with customers about the work and options.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality.
• Maintaining a clean, organized jobsite and service vehicle.
• Keeping the truck stocked and ready for the day.
• Following safety practices on the job and while driving.
• Participating in training and team meetings.
• Providing professional, respectful service that keeps customers coming back.

What You’ll Do

As a Plumbing Installer, you’ll primarily handle plumbing installations in residential and commercial properties, along with planned maintenance and service calls when needed.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Installing, repairing, and replacing water supply lines, drain and waste systems, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, gas piping, and related plumbing components
• Inspecting and testing plumbing and drain systems
• Troubleshooting plumbing and drain issues
• Making sure installations and repairs meet applicable plumbing codes and Travis Electrical Service standards
• Communicating with customers about the work you’re performing and helping them understand their options
• Inspecting completed work to make sure the job was done right the first time
• Maintaining a clean, organized jobsite and service vehicle
• Keeping your truck properly stocked and ready for the day
• Following company safety practices on the job and while driving
• Participating in company training and team meetings
• Providing the kind of professional, respectful service that keeps customers coming back

The Work

Some days may also require longer hours depending on the needs of our customers and the work scheduled.
