Job summary

The Plumbing Authority is hiring a Residential Plumbing Installer in Knoxville, TN to join our growing installation team. This role focuses on completing sold installation projects, with ownership from start to finish and a commitment to high-quality work that meets customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have at least four years of residential plumbing experience, including water heaters, tankless systems, gas, and repipes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years professional residential plumbing experience.
• Strong installation experience with water heaters, tankless systems, gas, repipes, and major installations.
• Professional and drug-free; strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs start-to-finish; detail-oriented with clean installations.

Responsibilities

• Complete plumbing installation projects already sold by our service department.
• Take ownership of projects and complete them efficiently while maintaining high standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and high-quality installations and solve installation challenges as they arise.
• Collaborate with team to ensure five-star customer experience.

About the Position

The Plumbing Authority is seeking a skilled Residential Plumbing Installer to join our growing installation team.

This position focuses on completing plumbing installation projects that have already been sold by our service department.

You will take ownership of completing plumbing installation projects efficiently while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

The ideal candidate takes pride in clean installations, problem solving, and delivering work they stand behind.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 4 years professional residential plumbing experience

Strong installation experience with:

• Water heaters & Tankless systems
• Gas
• Repipes
• Major plumbing installations

Professional and drug-free

Strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and complete jobs start-to-finish

Detail-oriented with a focus on clean, high-quality installations

Strong problem-solving ability when challenges arise on a job

TN driver's license with good driving record

Working knowledge of safe plumbing practices and local codes

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to delivering a five-star customer experience

• You have less than 4 years being employed as a residential service plumber
• You prefer running small service calls all day
• You struggle working independently on larger projects
• You cut corners instead of taking pride in your work
