Job summary

Lex Air Conditioning, Heating in the Dallas area is seeking a Plumbing Install Apprentice to learn from experienced professionals and grow in the trades.

You will assist in installing residential plumbing systems, work with senior plumbers, and gain hands-on experience while following safety standards and company policies, in a collaborative team that values quality service.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment screening and physical required.
• Current and valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Ability to read and follow oral and written directions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions.
• Ability to handle physical workload.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Follow instructions from senior plumbers to ensure quality workmanship.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure.
• Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide professional customer service and address client questions.
• Work with team to ensure projects are completed safely and on time.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
• Communicate with team and supervisors throughout the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential settings
• Follow instructions from senior plumbers to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Work with experienced plumber installing residential plumbing fixtures and piping
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
• Use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies

Skills/Qualifications

• Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens and physical
• Current and valid driver’s license in the state where you will be working

• Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Pay Range: $16 USD - $16 USD
