Plumbing/HVAC Service Technician

Department: Plumbing

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Ace Pelizon Plumbing - Covina, CA

Reporting To: General Manager

Description

You will be responsible for managing a territory and installing or servicing accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting all their plumbing requests, and ensuring customers receive outstanding customer service from all Plumbing departments.

Plumber Requirements

The responsibilities below include, but are not limited to:

• Proven 2-3 years of recent, full-time experience
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis - Identifying the source of plumbing problems like leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and malfunctioning fixtures through inspection and diagnostic tools.
• Repair and Maintenance - Fixing leaks, replacing worn-out parts, repairing or replacing pipes, unclogging drains, and performing routine maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Pipefitting - Cutting, threading, bending, and assembling pipes and fittings to install new plumbing systems.
• Customer Interaction - Communicating with clients to understand their plumbing issues, providing cost estimates for repairs, and explaining the repair process.
• Code Compliance - Ensuring all work adheres to local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Documentation - Maintaining accurate records of service calls, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
