Job summary

Apache Workforce in Houston, TX is seeking a Plumber Helper to assist with water supply line assemblies, DWV work, and connections such as sinks and toilets, under the supervision of the Area Supervisor and Lead Man.

The role requires following drawings and instructions, maintaining quality, and supporting a safe, productive workspace. Pay is $17.50/hour, with a 40+ hour workweek (currently six days) and overtime paid after 40 hours. Lunch is 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Layout and install basic plumbing products and components.
• Assist with water supply line assemblies.
• Assist with DWV line assemblies.
• Assist with sinks, toilets, and related fixtures connections.
• Build products according to design drawings and specifications.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in tasks.
• Follow work instructions and direction from supervisors and leads.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and safety requirements.
