Job summary

Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC is seeking a skilled Plumber to install, repair, and maintain heating, water, and drainage systems. Duties include assembling pipes, locating leaks, reading plans, and installing fixtures with standard plumbing practices.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and knowledge of hydronic, snowmelt, and irrigation systems. We offer a base hourly pay range and extensive benefits including healthcare, retirement match, lift tickets, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of hydronic, snowmelt, and irrigation systems.
• Experience with pumps and motors; familiar with standard plumbing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, solvent, caulking, or soldering/welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or plumb fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect leaks.
• Study building plans and inspect structures to plan installation around obstructions.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passages, and fixtures using rulers and levels.
• Install pipe assemblies and fixtures (sinks, toilets, dishwashers, water heaters) using hand and power tools.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, replace defective washers, mend broken pipes, and clear clogged drains.
• Install underground storm, sanitary and water piping, extending piping to connect to fixtures.
