Qualifications

• Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• Industrial electrical construction skills.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to read diagrams and blueprints.
• Must own electricians hand tools, meter, drills, and saws.

Responsibilities

• Assures safety compliance.
• Evaluate electrical problems and decide on a plan of action.
• Follow directions from Building Electrician manager.
• Complete projects in a timely manner.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and lighting.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot issues with testing devices and repair wiring or fixtures.
• Adhere to NEC and local regulations; perform circuit breaker maintenance.
• Support heating/air conditioning systems knowledge.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
