The role includes preparing students for Journeyman and other industry certifications. The position will begin August 2026; pay will be commensurate with qualifications, and fringe benefits are offered.

Fort Hays Tech | North Central is seeking an instructor for the Plumbing, Heating and Air-conditioning program on the Hays campus. This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing industry. Duties include providing state of the art instruction, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment, and securing positive business and industry relationships.

Plumbing, Heating and Air-conditioning prepares students for a career in the HVAC industry. Students receive training in all aspects of PHAC systems and water pumps. Students study HVAC fundamentals, electrical theory, plumbing fundamentals, gas heating and the refrigeration cycle. Students have the opportunity to sit for the Journeyman and other industry certifications.

The position will begin August 2026. Pay commensurate with qualifications, plus fringe benefits.
