Job summary

Christman Facility Solutions in Dallas, TX seeks a Plumbing Foreman to lead crews and ensure safe, on-schedule plumbing work. You will coordinate with the Mechanical Superintendent, attend progress meetings and state inspections, and maintain as-built drawings.

The role requires a TX Journeyman license with Med Gas endorsement and strong drafting/blueprint skills. Travel up to 60 miles daily, extended hours and weekends may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 years of plumbing experience or proven work history for the role.
• Texas Plumbing Journeyman License with Med Gas endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads crews in safe work habits and ensures policy compliance.

Christman Facility Solutions is looking for a Plumbing Foreman in our Dallas, Texas region.What You Will Do:As a Plumbing Foreman, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Leads crews in safe work habits to comply with all company policies and procedures, and counsels if necessary with assistance from Mechanical Superintendent.Supervises and attends weekly safety meetings.Communicates daily with Mechanical Superintendent to ensure jobs are progressing to meet schedule.Attends scheduled jobsite progress meetings and state inspections.Updates and maintains as built drawings on all jobs.Follows up on subordinates to ensure jobs are completed per plans and specs.Makes sure all penetrations are sealed correctly with the proper fire caulk for walls and floors.Makes sure that work crews are at scheduled work sites on time and prepared to work.Guides crews to ensure time sheets are turned in on time and accurately.Schedules city inspections and other inspections or certifications needed for job with Mechanical Superintendent for Plumbing and HVAC.Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position, occasional extended hours and weekends may apply.Travel: Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel 60 miles a day dependent on project location relative to where the employee lives.
