As a Plumbing Foreman, you provide oversight and direction for the field personnel. You ensure that materials are at the job site prior to scheduling the labor needed to complete the work. Applying your industry knowledge, you are able to evaluate the quality of work at each phase of construction. You assist with complex project installation challenges. As the liaison to offsite management, you report to and make recommendations to the project manager based on your observations.
Passionate about quality and safety, you confirm that proper procedures are being followed by all staff. You direct the subcontractors and field personnel, providing informal job site training and guidance in the plumbing methods that you are knowledgeable about. Under your excellent leadership, the field personnel are inspired to take great pride in their work. And, you get great satisfaction out of helping to ensure each project’s profitability while meeting deadlines for completion!
Journeyman certification is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have effective problem-solving skills? Are you diplomatic? Do you enjoy mentoring others? This full-time Foreman position typically works Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Overtime can be expected during peak periods.
