Job summary

Career Collective is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer in Woodland, CA to design plumbing systems, perform load calculations, and develop project specifications. The role includes site evaluations, client and project-team meetings, and producing construction documents from schematics to as-built plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree, proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, experience with Elite Fire Hydraulic Calculations Software, and strong

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Experience with Elite Fire Hydraulic Calculations Software.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems, including calculations for water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads.
• Develop project specifications and perform site evaluations.
• Attend meetings with clients and project teams.
• Develop contract drawings from Schematics through Construction Documents.
• Provide construction administration, including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
