Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to lead new construction projects from concept through completion in the New York metropolitan area. You will design building systems, coordinate with clients and project teams, and manage projects through all phases in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and a track record of leading projects through SD to CA phases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Plumbing and/or Fire Protection Engineering.
• Experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems for new construction projects.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience leading projects through SD, DD, CD, and CA phases.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, affordable housing, or retail projects preferred.

Work Environment Hybrid schedule with approximately two days in-office and three days remote. Join a collaborative engineering team working on diverse projects throughout the New York metropolitan and tri-state area, utilizing modern design tools including Revit and AutoCAD.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
