Skills

Good knowledge of common practices, tools, terminology and safety precautions of construction, mechanical and facility maintenance trades

Ability to work from plans, specifications, drawings and rough sketches

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Ability to work with others

Good hand and eye coordination

Education

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma

Graduation from a technical high school or trade school with a major in electrical, mechanical or construction trades
