Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team in Cincinnati. This role is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and analyzing blueprints, proposals, and related documentation to successfully bid plumbing service projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple deadlines with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect project plans and specifications
- Evaluate bid documents, blueprints, and related materials
- Prepare transmittals and distribute plans/specifications during the bid process
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and complete project scope reviews
- Develop master budgets and cost models for assigned projects
- Provide accurate project estimates and cost summaries
- Communicate with employers, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to review estimates and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure accuracy of all estimate records
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel strongly preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Visual ability to read printed materials and computer screens

- Moderate noise level typical of a professional office
- Occasional job site visits may be required, including exposure to construction environments and varying weather conditions
