Job summary

ARC Eng in Burbank, CA is seeking mid to senior-level Mechanical engineers and designers for our Burbank and El Segundo offices. You will produce plumbing designs in AutoCAD and Revit, coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams, and own projects from site surveys through construction administration with project managers and Principals.

Job description

We are currently accepting applications for mid to senior-level Mechanical engineers and designers at our Burbank and El Segundo offices. This role is open to direct applicants only.

Job Responsibilities (will vary depending on experience but may include):

• Work under the technical supervision of the firm's Chief Mechanical Engineer and learn our business, the technical aspects of electrical design, engineering, and the process that we produce contract documents.
• Produce all aspects of plumbing system design and drawings in both AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proactively coordinate with the electrical and mechanical teams on each project and in general.
• Take ownership of projects from the site survey, client coordination, design and construction administration working with project managers and Principals at ARC.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
• Experience working on commercial or institutional projects preferred.
• Proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD in a production or design environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
