Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Plumbing Engineer/Designer for our Lexington, KY office. The role focuses on plumbing design for energy-efficient projects and requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years as a plumbing designer.

The position is onsite at our Lexington office and involves working with the plumbing team on diverse clients. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong technical skills, capable of performing design, calculations, and coordination with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or 5+ years as plumbing designer.
• Proficiency in Revit.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design for plumbing in construction projects.
• Obtaining flow tests and completing engineering calculations.
• Determine preliminary fire/domestic water requirements for various building types.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Reviewing and marking up others drawings.
• Developing client relations through feedback to design engineers on customer concerns and needs
