Job summary

Pan-Pacific Mechanical is seeking a technically strong Plumbing Engineer to lead design from concept through construction on major commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects. You will own deliverables in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial plumbing design experience and proficiency in Revit, along with knowledge of plumbing codes.

PE/CPD preferred. This role emphasizes independent work and collaborative teamwork within a high-performance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing design experience.
  • Experience in high-production environments with multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of plumbing codes.
  • PE or CPD certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead plumbing system design from concept through construction documents.
  • Deliver high-volume, high-quality production work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Develop and coordinate detailed Revit-based 3D models with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform system sizing, layout, and engineering calculations.
  • Select and specify plumbing equipment; collaborate directly with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Review and process submittals and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and project management teams.
  • Support field operations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-output, technically strong Plumbing Engineer who can operate at speed and precision in a production-driven environment. This is not a maintenance or support role—you will be a key contributor driving design on major builds, owning deliverables from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead plumbing system design from concept through construction documents

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing design experience

  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • Working knowledge of plumbing codes and NFPA standards
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • PE (Professional Engineer) or CPD certification – preferred, not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
