Overview:
Our client is an established engineering consulting firm that is currently seeking a Plumbing Designer to join their growing team within the Charlotte market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings to determine conformance with contract documents and applicable codes
• Plumbing design of piping and equipment selection for plumbing, pressurized gases, and fire protection systems for building design
• Work with other engineers and personnel to implement operating procedures
• Assist in meetings with owners, clients, and architects
• Create customer relations through feedback to design engineers on customer concerns and needs

Desired Experience:

• 3+ years experience
• Knowledge of building life safety and plumbing codes including ICC Standards
• REVIT proficiency
