Job summary

STSI (Staffing Technical Services Inc.) is seeking an Intermediate Plumbing Design Technician in Cincinnati. This hybrid role requires 2 days in the office, with design work primarily in Revit and coordination across disciplines. Expect collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and handling RFIs and shop drawings.

The ideal candidate has extensive plumbing design experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• 10 years of practical plumbing design experience, reduces to 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline.
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination.
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar.
• Forward thinking with a desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
• Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.

Responsibilities

Location: Cincinnati, OH (HYBRID - 2 DAYS [AVG] IN OFFICE)

Pay Range: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour

Description

• Produce plumbing (domestic hot and cold water, waste and vent and storm water) designs for construction by modeling in Revit
• Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines
• Review and respond to RFI's and shop drawings

Qualifications

• 10 years, reduces to 5 years with an Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client, and construction team
• Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
• General working knowledge of plumbing codes
• An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution and building system coordination
• Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
