Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking an experienced Plumbing Design Engineer to develop plumbing systems for commercial and industrial buildings in Wichita, KS. You will prepare drawings, perform calculations, and size equipment using AutoCAD MEP and Revit, working with cross-disciplinary teams on coordinated MEP designs.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of plumbing design experience; PE license or EIT is a plus, with on-site collaboration and career growth opportunities in a thriving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of plumbing systems design experience within the building construction industry.
• Experience with AutoCAD MEP and Revit.
• Knowledge of domestic water, sanitary drainage, venting, and commercial building plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes, engineering drawings, and construction documentation.

• Apply applicable plumbing codes and engineering standards to create safe, efficient, and reliable building systems.
• Support projects from initial design through construction documentation and construction-phase coordination.
