Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for MA DESE Vocational Technical Teacher License in Plumbing (License 74).
• Five (5) years of full‑time plumbing trade experience.
• Current MA Journeyman Plumber License.
• Current MA Master Plumber License.
• Passage of required DESE exams (VTL/STL).
• Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing systems, safety standards, and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction aligned with CVTE Frameworks and district curriculum.
• Teach plumbing theory, safety procedures, codes, and best practices for licensure and employment.
• Develop lesson plans with demonstrations, direct instruction, and hands‑on activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and lab environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and compliant reporting.
