Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Ann Arbor is seeking a motivated learner plumber apprentice to work under a journeyman, gaining hands-on experience with minor jobs and essential services.

You will support lead plumbers, participate in residential plumbing tasks, and ensure safety and client satisfaction while maintaining schedules from 8am to 5pm, with overtime and weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a journeyman plumber to learn advanced technical skills and execute minor jobs independently.
• Support lead plumbers with truck organization, parts, and direct assistance on large projects.
• Perform plumbing service work on residential plumbing systems in addition to whole-house plumbing evaluations.
• Test each aspect of the job before leaving a home to make sure everything is working properly.
• Explain each service performed to the client each time a maintenance or repair is completed.
• Ensure clients are 100% satisfied with all work.
• Convey a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving.
• Available Monday to Friday for 8am-5pm shifts (overtime and weekend opportunities as well!)
