Job summary

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Ann Arbor, MI is hiring an entry-level plumber helper. You will learn under a journeyman, assist with residential plumbing services, and participate in whole-house evaluations.

This role offers a clear path for growth, a 401(k) with employer matching, health benefits for you and family, PTO, a company van and tools, and ongoing training. Shift is Monday to Friday 8am–5pm with overtime and weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; eagerness to learn and grow in plumbing.
• Willingness to work as part of a collaborative crew.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic essential.

Responsibilities

• Learn from a journeyman plumber and perform minor jobs.
• Support lead plumbers with truck organization and parts.
• Perform residential plumbing service work and whole-house evaluations.
• Test each aspect of a job before leaving a home.
• Explain services to clients after maintenance or repairs.
• Ensure clients are 100% satisfied with the work.
• Maintain safety on job sites and while driving.
