Haven Services in Columbus is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice Supervisor to lead the state-certified Haven Services Apprenticeship Program, mentoring apprentices to become licensed plumbers while building a pipeline of skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Plumber License (preferred) or 5+ years field experience.
• 1-2 years in a supervisory, mentoring, or training role, ideally with apprentices or new hires.
• Deep knowledge of plumbing and drain systems (copper, PEX, DWV), installation techniques, and Ohio plumbing codes.
• Experience developing or managing training programs or apprenticeships (state-registered program experience a plus).
• Strong communication and organizational skills to lead teams and manage program logistics.
• A valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record (must remain insurable under company vehicle insurance).
• Tech-savvy: Comfort with digital tools like learning management systems or apprentice tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Haven Services Apprenticeship Program, ensuring compliance with state and industry standards.
• Develop and refine a cutting-edge training curriculum blending classroom learning, hands-on field work, and certifications.
• Track apprentice progress hours, skills, certifications using digital tools to align with licensing requirements.
• Partner with HR, Safety, and Operations to maintain program compliance and accurate reporting.
• Enhance outcomes by incorporating feedback from apprentices and leadership.
• Build relationships with local trade schools and boards to expand recruitment and funding.
