Job summary

Satellite Management Co. is seeking a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our Roving Corporate Maintenance Team in Santa Ana, CA. This entry-level position offers hands-on plumbing experience alongside an experienced plumber, with growth opportunities within a Driven company.

You will assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, learn safety procedures, and work across portfolios while building a well-rounded skill set. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Willingness to learn on the job and grow in plumbing skills.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water lines, drains, fixtures, and appliances.
• Help diagnose and fix leaks, clogs, and low water pressure.
• Support preventive maintenance and respond to service requests in apartments and common areas.
• Pitch in on electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance across the portfolio.

We're looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our Roving Corporate Maintenance Team. What You'll Do

• Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water lines, drain lines, fixtures, and appliances


• Help diagnose and fix common issues like leaks, clogs, and low water pressure


• Support preventive maintenance and respond to service requests in apartment homes and common areas


• Pitch in on electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance across our portfolio, building well‑rounded skills


• Learn and follow proper safety procedures and correct use of plumbing tools and equipment


• Follow company standards and local codes to deliver quality, compliant work


• Document completed work orders and flag follow‑up needs to your supervisor


• Keep work areas clean and organized and dispose of materials properly


• Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and maintenance teammates

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED


• Maintenance or plumbing experience is a plus, but not required. We'll teach you.


• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools


• Strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors, outdoors, and in confined spaces


• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred


• Valid Drivers License
