Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking an enthusiastic Plumbing Apprentice to learn the trade through on-the-job training with licensed plumbers. You will assist with installations, repairs and maintenance while developing skills for a long-term career in plumbing.

Ideal candidates are ready to learn, work hard, and join a team that values integrity, ownership and service as core values. Drug testing and background checks are part of the employment process, with a valid driver’s license

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, staff and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installations, repairs and maintenance under supervision.
• Be thorough in inspections and quoting for replacements or repairs.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings when required.
• Assist others in completing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders
• Must be able to use hand and power tools

Drug testing, background checks and valid driver's license are conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Completion of proposed work as quoted.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.

• Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.
