Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to learn the trade through on-the-job training with licensed plumbers. You will assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance while building skills for long-term growth.

A hands-on role requiring physical ability and a team-focused mindset. Responsibilities include professional customer communication, accurate inspections and quotes, and completing work as quoted.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Drug testing, background checks, and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Completion of proposed work as quoted.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Positive attitude required and must be able to promote a professional, and friendly work environment.
• Work hard, smart and efficiently.
• Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.
• Drug testing, background checks and valid driver's license are conditions of employment.
• Assist others in the completion of duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned
