Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for safety discussions before work starts.
• Assemble pipes and clean water supply.
• Perform duties as assigned by Journeyman or Site-Superintendent.

The successful Apprentice Plumber will strive to enhance their expertise and abilities consistently, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work in a safe manner, adhering to production schedules, and integrating UMC's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Hourly Pay: $21.00 to$33.25/hourdepending on experience

Apprentice Plumber Responsibilities and Duties (Essential Job Functions)

• Arrives at job sites on time as scheduled toparticipatein pre-planning and safety discussionsbefore work begins.
• Assembling pipes, digging trenches, cleaning water supply, handling tools, and cleaning job sites
• Performsadditionalduties as assigned by a Journeyman or Site-Superintendent.
• Complies withUMC, Inc. safety procedures and policies. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment orPPE. Ensures all work is performed using proper installation procedures and safety practices.

• Must have intent to attend or currently enrolled in Plumbing Apprentice school
• Must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, able to pass a physical and drug screening, andbe authorized towork in the US
• Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; climb or balance; stand; walk; lift or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds; work overhead and in cramped quarters. Good visionrequired.
