Your Role:

  1. Prepare deliverables and products including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  2. Design plumbing and fire protection systems including calculations of water, gas, sanitary/sewer and storm loads while adhering to the firm’s QA/QC process.
  3. Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
  4. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  5. Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  6. Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  7. Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. 5+ years of plumbing and fire protection design experience in commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities.
  3. Proficient with the use of AutoCAD; Revit knowledge preferred.
  4. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  5. Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code and healthcare compliance requirements and industry standards.
  7. Project and client relationship management experience.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment.
  9. PE registration is highly preferred in Boston, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in 1-2 years.
  10. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $100k-170k
