Job Description

JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER:

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components
• Maintain all building codes, installation requirements, and relevant legislation
• Administer and schedule work
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
• Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, and controls
• Ensure that all specifications and code requirements are met
• Ensure efficient completion of all projects
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Four years of experience in commercial plumbing operations
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of general plumbing systems installation
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures for installation
• Ability to fabricate offsets
• Working knowledge of all hand and power tools
• Able to do basic take-offs
• Able to install equipment
