The primary purpose of the Plumber/Steamfitter I position is to perform maintenance repairs and install or replace plumbing systems and fixtures, including supply systems, DWV systems, and heating and steam fixtures/equipment. The role involves assisting in directing work of other mechanics, trades helpers, and skilled tradespeople.

Qualifications:

1. Technical school diploma or equivalent knowledge.
2. Five (5) years of experience in operation, maintenance, and installation of plumbing systems/equipment in educational, industrial, or healthcare settings.
3. Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
4. Understanding of applicable local, state, and national codes.
5. New Jersey Black Seal Engineer’s License is preferred.
