Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. oversees Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining ship systems, including plumbing for potable, gray, and black water lines, and performing major mechanical overhauls on vacuum systems aboard vessels.

Candidates should have experience on ships in equivalent positions and be proficient with the company SMS, PPE, and safety procedures. Teamwork in an ENGINE ROOM environment is essential for success aboard our fleet.

Qualifications

• Experience on vessels in an equivalent position.
• Familiarity with the Company's SMS.
• Teamwork and engine room experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the repair and plumbing, potable water, gray water and black water line.
• Performs major mechanical overhaul and repair work on vacuum system.
• Notify the Engine Storekeeper regarding working consumables to be ordered.
• Implement all safe working practices in all tasks, including proper use of watertight doors, handling of chemical products and usage of PPE.
• Any additional duties as directed by the First Engineer (Oceania) / Hotel Engineer (Regent).
• All other duties as assigned.
• All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

Performs major mechanical overhaul and repair work on vacuum system.

Notify the Engine Storekeeper regarding working consumables to be ordered.

Implement all safe working practices in all tasks, including proper use of watertight doors, handling of chemical products and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Any additional duties as directed by the First Engineer (Oceania) / Hotel Engineer (Regent).

All other duties as assigned.

All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

Education and Experience

• Experience on vessels in equivalent position.
• Knowledge of the Company SMS.
• Skills including but not limited to: Team Work Engine Room Experience
