Plumber / Plumber Helper – Immediate Hire – Full‑Time
Responsibilities
General plumbing installations and maintenance.
Work in group homes, commercial sites, hospitals, medical facilities, schools.
Handle black pipe, copper lines, gas lines, sprinkler lines.
Install steam and water heating lines.
Install boilers and hot water heaters.
Install sump pumps and ejector pumps.
Apply current NYC Plumbing Codes.
Work as part of a 2–4 plumber team on a single project.
Maintain effective communication and focus in a busy environment.
Keep jobsites neat and organized.
Be willing to learn.
Fluency in English.
Have 5+ years of experience as plumber/plumber helper in commercial projects.
Qualifications
Own basic plumbing tools.
Reside in Staten Island.
16‑hour NYC Gas Certification (plus).
Valid driver’s license (required).
Read blueprints (plus).
OSHA‑40 certification (required).
DEP water valve installation experience (plus).
Experience in hospitals or medical facility projects (plus).
