Position: PLUMBER

Department: ENGINEERING

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Ability to follow specific general instructions
2. Independent decision making skills required
3. Ability to work independently

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Scaffolding erection
2. Ability to work as a team
3. Overtime required

Normal Working Hours: Varied - according to needs of the Hotel

In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

Past Work Experience Requirements:

Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours, or experience and technical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for a number of years.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Communication Skills Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Technical Requirements:

Skills necessary to be a Journeyman Plumber

Physical Requirements:

Indoors and Outdoors work, including below ground and in elevated areas. Personal protective equipment required. Continuous work postures may include standing, sitting, walking, climbing, bending/stooping, overhead reaching, and arm/hand movement.

Lifting Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 41 lbs. or more, depending on the task.
