Comfort Systems USA Shoffner, a regional leader in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing services, is seeking a Journeyman Plumber with multiple years of experience to join the team. You will install commercial plumbing, lay out pipes, and work outdoors in diverse environments while upholding safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Commercial Plumbing experience.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Work as a team.
• Do Basic “Tape measure math”.
• Ability to work in extreme heat/cold and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install commercial pipes in various job settings.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles.
• Install hangers to hold pipes in place.
• Work at heights using ladders, lifts, or roof.
• Install plumbing fixtures and use power/hand tools.
• Brazing copper.
• Help teach Apprentices on the job site.

A Plumber Journeyman is becoming a skilled professional with multiple years of experience in their trade. You will have an opportunity for continued career progression. Your pay: $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience. Annual reviews and pay increases.

Your main Tasks:

Experience or Certification needed:

• 4 years of Commercial Plumbing experience.

• Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
• Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Work efficiently in confined spaces.
• Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.
• Exercise fine motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.
