Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Plumber IV in Addison, IL to lead moderately complex plumbing projects and mentor junior staff. You will install, repair, and inspect plumbing systems, interpret blueprints, and coordinate with clients and contractors to meet timelines.

Welcome!The Plumber IV uses practical knowledge to complete moderately complex projects and assignments within the Plumbing family. Helps train or mentor less experienced employees. Works under general direction.Location Address: 901 S Rohlwing Rd Ste G, Addison, IL 60101Key Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose issues or defects.Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to discuss project requirements and timelines.Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.Carry out installations and repairs of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.Mentor and provide guidance to junior plumbers and helpers.Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Necessary license as required.Proven experience as a Plumber with 6+ years of work experience in the industry.Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.Expertise in interpreting and analyzing complex blueprints and technical drawings.Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and advanced plumbing techniques.Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to lead and manage plumbing teams effectively.Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.Valid driver's license.What Do We Offer You as a Service Experts Employee?Service Experts offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families in managing their health and wellness needs.
