E-ONE, a Terex Corporation company, is seeking an experienced assembler for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical assembly on custom fire trucks in New York. You will read blueprints, perform pipe fitting, install hydraulic and electrical components, and verify performance through leak and functional tests.

• Troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems (12V/DC and 110V/AC).
• Work from engineering documentation independently; hydraulic systems knowledge is a plus.

• Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders

Available schedules: Monday - Thursday from 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday or Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, plus Optional Overtime on Friday and Saturday.

Scope: Independently performs plumbing, electrical, and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting with moderate complexity.

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge: Plumbing systems (metal and nonmetal piping)
• Strong working knowledge: Electrical systems (12V DC / 110V AC)
• Strong working knowledge: Mechanical assembly practices
• Strong working knowledge: Ability to work from engineering documentation independently
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred)

• Determine root cause of failures and implement corrective actions
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products
• Assist in corrective and preventive action processes

The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is (16.50 – 26.00). This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
