Job summary

Rocky Mountain Mechanical in Salt Lake City is seeking a Plumber II Apprentice with 3–5 years of plumbing experience to support commercial and industrial projects. You will lay out, assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems under supervision.

You must help document work, communicate with customers and management, and perform in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and traversing confined spaces.

Job Duties / General Requirements

This position is synonymous with an “Apprentice” position in the trades. This position has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have in-depth knowledge of plumbing but still requires some assistance. The Plumber II repairs and replaces plumbing systems, supports and equipment for commercial and industrial applications and is supervised by a Plumber III or above.

• Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
• Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience.

• Self-starter, high energy level.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Also requires frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
