Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a highly skilled Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, strong problem-solving and leadership abilities, and be capable of overseeing junior plumbers and apprentices on site.

Role involves interpreting blueprints, coordinating with clients and teammates, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing experience with strong knowledge of codes and regulations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects including new installations, remodeling, repairs and maintenance.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications for layouts.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment and labor costs for projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Keep job sites clean and dispose of waste properly.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, water heaters.
• Cut, thread and bend pipes using advanced tools; weld or solder joints.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and provide solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials; keep accurate records of work and progress.
• Train and mentor junior staff; stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
