Job summary

Rosewood Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will maintain, repair and install plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the facility to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Requirements include 3+ years of plumbing experience, knowledge of cast iron piping and codes, and hands-on work with water treatment, medical gas, fire suppression and HVAC hydronic systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a plumber, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting.
• Must know how to work with cast iron.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Experience with water treatment systems, medical gas systems, fire suppression systems, HVAC hydronic systems.
• Valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including water pipes and fixtures.
• Drainage systems (sewer lines, drains, etc.).
• Water heaters and boilers; Pumps and valves.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues promptly and efficiently.
• Install new plumbing fixtures and appliances as needed.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure overall facility maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure overall facility maintenance
