ABACUS Plumbing is seeking a Residential Service Plumber to join the team in Houston. You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing emergencies, replace water heaters and fixtures, and locate leaks across home systems.

The role requires 2–5+ years of experience and a valid tradesman/Journeyman/Master license. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, year-round work, and opportunities for career growth in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing emergencies promptly and accurately.
• Perform water heater replacement and faucet/tub/toilet replacements.
• Conduct leak location and repair across various systems (under slab, sewer, water, sprinkler).
• Explain plumbing solutions to customers and quote replacements or repairs.

Responsibilities

What will I do?

• Diagnose common and diverse plumbing emergencies efficiently and accurately and perform plumbing services
• Strong residential service experience and strong trouble shooting skills
• Explaining/educating customers on their plumbing needs at the customer level
• Water Heater replacement and repair
• Fixture Replacement (Faucets, Tubs, and Toilet)
• Thorough understanding of home re-pipes and drain/sewer replacements
• Leak location & repair - under slab, sewer, water, pool, and sprinkler systems
• Making sure all equipment is maintained
• Complete a thorough process of lining and coating
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• 2 - 5+yr Plumbing Experience
• Tradesman, Journeyman, or Master's license
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Good Attitude and Willingness to Learn
• Leak Location and Repair, a plus
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service while on the jobsite
• Results driven in a high-energy environment
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently
• Ability work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
• Service Titan experience preferred.
