Job summary

KR Wolfe Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Equipment Service Technician with a background in plumbing, mechanical systems, or biomedical equipment service to support healthcare equipment projects for our client, Getinge.

This hands-on role focuses on installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and service of sterilizers, cart washers, sonic/ultrasonic cleaning systems, and related healthcare equipment. Travel to customer locations is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, biomedical equipment service, mechanical maintenance, field service, or equipment installation.
• Experience servicing or installing sterilizers, autoclaves, cart washers, ultrasonic cleaners, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems including water, drain, steam, valves, fittings, and pumps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, laboratories, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability and willingness to travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and service sterilizers, cart washers, sonic cleaners, and related healthcare equipment.
• Perform plumbing and mechanical work associated with equipment installation and service.
• Work with water supply, drain, steam, valves, fittings, pumps, and related utility connections.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and equipment-related issues.
• Assist with equipment removal, replacement, positioning, leveling, and installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Read installation manuals, equipment specifications, diagrams, and basic construction drawings.
• Document service work, equipment conditions, project photos, and completed tasks.
• Coordinate with project managers, healthcare facility personnel, and other field technicians.
• Follow all company, client, and healthcare facility safety requirements.
• Travel to customer locations as required.

Job Summary

KR Wolfe is seeking a Healthcare Equipment Service Technician with a background in plumbing, mechanical systems, or biomedical equipment service to support healthcare equipment projects for our client, Getinge.

This role focuses on the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and service of equipment such as sterilizers, cart washers, sonic/ultrasonic cleaning systems, and related healthcare equipment.

This is a hands-on mechanical and equipment service role, not a Sterile Processing Technician position.

• Experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, laboratories, commercial buildings, or industrial environments is a plus.

• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and equipment documentation.
