Job summary

KR Wolfe Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Equipment Service Technician with a background in plumbing, mechanical systems, or biomedical equipment service to support Getinge projects.

The role focuses on installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and service of sterilizers, cart washers, sonic/ultrasonic systems, and related healthcare equipment. This is a hands-on mechanical and equipment service position requiring travel to customer sites, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, biomedical equipment service, mechanical maintenance, field service, or equipment installation.
• Experience servicing or installing sterilizers, autoclaves, cart washers, ultrasonic cleaners, commercial washers, steam equipment, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems including water, drain, steam, valves, fittings, and pumps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, laboratories, commercial buildings, or industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability and willingness to travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and service sterilizers, cart washers, sonic cleaners, and related healthcare equipment.
• Perform plumbing and mechanical work associated with equipment installation and service.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
• Document service work, equipment conditions, project photos, and completed tasks.
• Coordinate with project managers and healthcare facility personnel.
