Job summary

A-1 Sewer & Septic Service, Inc. in Kansas City, KS, seeks a full‑time plumber to join our family‑owned team. You will install, maintain, and repair piping, fixtures and water-waste systems for residential and commercial customers.

Compensation is commission-based, with an average of $50,000 to $95,000 per year. We offer a 100% company‑paid health plan, other insurance options, FSA, a 3% retirement match, 10 days paid vacation, 6 holidays, weekly pay, and a company van with equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing service repair for residential and commercial sites.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication with customers.
• Willing to participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Familiarity with Kansas City area and service routes.

We are seeking an individual that exhibits those qualities to join our team as a full-time plumber.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal for residential and commercial customers.
• Troubleshoot instances of system malfunctions, interruptions and failures
• Ensure proper billing and daily documentation of activities
• Commission based pay ($50,000 to $95,000/year on average)

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a “CAN DO” attitude
• Must have plumbing service repair experience for residential and commercial job sites
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have good customer communication
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
• Must participate in a rotating on call schedule
• Must have good knowledge of Kansas City area
• Must have good workmanship and driving skills
• Must provide own hand tools
