Job summary

Florida Department of Corrections seeks a Plumber for Charlotte Correctional Institution. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or completion of plumbing trade training.
• At least 1 year of experience in the plumbing trade or 4+ years of experience in plumbing with related training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including LP gas supply, waste collection, and potable water.
• Inspect, test, and document equipment per Department guidelines.
• Supervise inmates in plumbing tasks and provide on-the-job training as needed.
• Read blueprints and plan work, organize tasks, and prepare reports.
