Job summary

Waste Resource Management (WRM) is hiring a Plumber Apprentice to learn the plumbing trade under a licensed Master Plumber. The role focuses on full-service plumbing, construction, installation, and repair within our liquid waste operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist plumbing operation with installs, repairs, replacements, and maintenance of liquid waste, air, and gas lines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure company vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Observe and help plumbers assemble and install valves and pipe fittings.
  • Repair and maintains valves, faucets, traps, sinks, sewers, vents, and fixtures.
  • Perform work in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces, pits, and utility tunnels, following all safety protocols.
  • Work at heights when necessary (e.g., ladders, scaffolding, rooftops) using proper fall protection equipment.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Company will provide training and certification.
