Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, LLC is hiring a Journeyman Plumber for the West Madison area. You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing, install fixtures and heaters, and perform inspections with modern dispatch tools.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber license required.
• 3–5+ years of verifiable residential service plumbing experience.
• Proven experience with drain cleaning, hydro jetting and camera inspections.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to upsell where appropriate.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose residential plumbing issues accurately and efficiently.
• Present tiered pricing options to homeowners.
• Install plumbing, fixtures, water heaters, and treatment systems.
• Perform drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and camera inspections.
• Inspect homes, identify issues before callbacks.
• Communicate work orders and payments professionally on company iPad.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards.

Compensation And Incentives

• Base pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
• Commission: 5% on personal billed and collected revenue
• Google review spiff: $ per 5-star review that names you
• Annual bonus based on customer satisfaction performance
• Realistic first-year earnings of $85,000 - $140,000+ for a productive service plumber

What you'll do

• Diagnose residential plumbing issues accurately and efficiently
• Present good / better / best pricing options clearly so homeowners can choose with confidence
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves for gas, electric, and tankless water heaters, water treatment systems, and leak detection systems
• Install and repair fixtures such as sinks, faucets, and toilets
• Perform drain cleaning, de-scaling, hydro jetting, and camera inspections
• Perform whole-home plumbing inspections and identify potential issues before they become callbacks
  • Install whole-home re-piping systems
• Communicate work orders, invoices, and payments professionally on a company-provided iPad
• Keep your company van clean and organized, inside and out
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every job and build the kind of trust that earns repeat business

What we're looking for

• Wisconsin Journeyman Plumber license
• If you're an unlicensed plumber with years of experience, and can sell or be trained to sell, please apply
• 3-5+ years of verifiable residential service plumbing experience
• Proven experience with drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and camera inspections
• Re-pipe knowledge and expertise a strong plus
• A customer-first brand ambassador: someone whose personality turns a stressful pipe burst into a 5-star experience
• Comfortable presenting tiered pricing options and discussing scope with homeowners
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
