Job summary

ALTREX PLUMBING AND HEATING LTD. is seeking a plumber to install and repair plumbing systems across residential, commercial and industrial sites in Richmond, BC. The role requires a secondary school certificate or equivalent experience and 2–3 years of hands-on plumbing work.

Tasks: Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling.

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat.
