Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Plumber for Snowshoe, West Virginia. The role is full-time and year-round, with duties including installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across the resort.

You must hold a Master Plumber License and have proven experience with code compliance and complex installations. On-site work includes housing options, benefits, and the chance to contribute to a unique mountain resort environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Master Plumber License and demonstrated experience in advanced plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Study building plans and drawings to determine work aids and sequence of installations.
• Inspect structures to identify obstructions that could weaken the structure during piping work.
• Locate and mark pipe connections and passage holes in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls/floors for pipes and fittings; cut and thread pipe.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and water softeners.
• Maintain plumbing by replacing washers, mending pipes, and clearing drains.
