Job summary

L&Q is seeking a Multi-trader Plumber to join its North London repairs team on a permanent basis. The role involves plumbing repairs and replacements across resident homes, with ad hoc cross-regional work to support service delivery.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, with potential to earn more from callouts. A manual driving licence and hand tools are required, NVQ experience preferred, and a strong focus on customer service and safety is essential.

Salary: £41,200 per annum

Persona: Mobile worker - contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:

The North London repairs team are looking for a Multi trader Plumber to join the team on a permanent basis.

*Our North London region is one of our largest operational areas, covering Hackney, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea and Barnet and Enfield. While successful candidates will be allocated a primary working area, they will be expected to work across the wider region ad hoc to support service delivery.

It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role and they must have hand tools (larger tools and specialist equipment will be arranged if needed).

Your impact in the role:

Our plumbers deal with all aspects of Plumbing repairs and replacements of sinks water tanks, and bathrooms. In addition to plumbing they will have associated skills and experience in basic carpentry, tiling, painting/decorating and patch plastering repairs.

We will expect effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.

Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents. We expect our operatives to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
